Get civvy qualified with S-92 and AW139 training

Are you an aircraft technician ready to transition to the civil sector?

Wondering …

  • How do I convert my ADF qualifications to a civilian aircraft maintenance licence?
  • Do I require additional study to become a civilian licensed aircraft maintenance engineer?
  • What are my job prospects in the civil sector?
  • Which aircraft types are most commonly used in the civil sector?
  • How can I stand out in a competitive job market?

A civvy career offers a rewarding lifestyle, more career opportunities and greater flexibility. Having already provided training for a number of army and navy aircraft technicians, we will map out a personalised path to get you qualified on either the AW139 or S-92 aircraft.

Across Australia, these aircraft are proven to perform. As a result, more operators are choosing to use the AW139 and S-92.

Why the S-92?

Currently one of the most-used offshore aircraft in Australia, the S-92 provides oil and gas operators with long-range transport for up to 19 passengers.

The S-92 has registered more than 1.2 million flight hours across its fleet of more than 300 aircraft in 25 countries. It is also the preferred aircraft of 11 heads of state, including the US president.

Why the AW139?

The AW139 is booming in popularity around the world, providing a growing number of jobs in search and rescue, emergency medical services, oil and gas, VIP and more.

There are more than 900 AW139 aircraft currently in operation in 80 countries around the world. More than two million flight hours have been registered on this aircraft – and AgustaWestland still has 100 aircraft on order.

Whether you have been in defence for a few years or a few decades, there is a transition path available.
