04 Sep EC135 Series training has launched
FINALLY, ENGINEERS CAN STUDY EC135 TYPE TRAINING IN AUSTRALIA!
Our new EC135 Series course is here! Find all the details you need to know below…
Why we launched this course
We launched this course for two reasons. One, to provide EC135 training in Australia (this course has been highly requested!).
Secondly, we wanted to streamline the training process for this aircraft. You see, the thing about type training on the EC135 is that there are courses for the Classic aircraft and Helionix variant, as well as two different engines. This has traditionally meant engineers have to undertake multiple courses to get fully licensed – and, to make it even more complex, not all training providers offer the complete suite of courses.
We wanted to simplify your training options, so we have developed an EC135 Series type course that covers both the Classic and Helionix variants in a single training block. Plus, you can now also study the PW200 Series engine course with us too.
Key Course Information
The EC135 Series Airframe/Avionics type course is approved under Part 147 by CASA, and training is delivered for both B1.3 and B2 engineers over a period of four weeks. After sitting this course, you’ll have both Classic and Helionix ratings on your licence.
We produced this course because we were getting so many enquiries for EC135 training.
Enrolments are now open for the following dates:
23 September to 18 October 2024 (details here)
2–27 June 2025 (details here)
What students are saying about the course
This new type course has already been roadtested twice by two private clients of ours, and here’s some of the feedback we’ve received…
“Excellent course! I couldn’t be more impressed with the professionalism and organization of the course. The entire HeliTSA team was incredibly experienced, providing excellent real-world applications that enhanced my understanding significantly. Their expertise and dedication made the learning process both engaging and practical.” – Saul
“Did the EC135 Airframe course and was very happy with the quality of the course material and instructors. Brad and Pep were very professional and helpful.” – Dave
Both of these reviews are online, and you can check them out here…
The benefits of Series type training
Our new EC135 Series type course follows our unique training model of covering an entire series in a single course. Prior to launching EC135 Series training, we developed a similar format for Bell 212/412 type training. And it has worked so well that we’ve now adopted this approach as part of our model.
The advantage is you get all of your desired licenses from a single course, plus you get broader exposure to operational and maintenance scenarios you’re likely to face in the field. That means you not only save money by sitting just one course, but you also gain more knowledge and skills.
Attaining a Helionix-only rating
If you’ve already studied a Classic course but need a Helionix (H135) rating too, we have also launched a differences course. It runs over 7 days, covering the differences between the Classic and Helionix systems, and how to effectively perform maintenance and find faults on Helionix aircraft.
This course runs as we have enough demand for it, so please email us to express your interest and be placed on the waitlist.
How to get more information
If you’re interested in training, reach out so we can send you a Course Information Pack.
Our team also provides on-site training for operators (and we’ve already delivered this EC135 training package on-site for our clients). You can request a custom training proposal, with a case study from an EC135 client, by sending us an email here.
