HeliTSA is a global provider of rotary maintenance training. Established by two experienced maintenance engineers, we are committed to providing highly practical training for industry engineers ready to take the next step in their career. Our approved type courses and refresher training programs evolve in sync with the industry, giving you a competitive edge.
We created HeliTSA to elevate the quality of rotary maintenance training not just in Australia, but also around the world. We give you access to instructors who still contract as engineers to bring current best practice to the classroom, and focus on delivering practical hands-on experience.
Training is far more than a regulatory checkbox. We truly understand the knowledge and experiences you need from your course, so you learn practical skills that will give you an edge. We currently offer Part 147 approved training for the 139, Bell 212/412, EC135 and S-92, as well as engine training.

Pep is an Avionics LAE with more than 10 years of experience in commercial aviation. He has worked as a contractor in oil and gas, EMS and in China, and managed projects as an Avionics Team Leader. As a result, he understands the reality of both heavy maintenance and line maintenance.
At HeliTSA, Pep teaches in an engaging and interactive manner you can easily relate to. He’s also a master cook who spends his spare time trying new recipes, so Pep doubles as our barbecue and morning tea caterer too.
Troy co-founded HeliTSA with a vision to fill the gaps that exist between training and working in the hangar. He is an Engine/Airframe LAE with 20 years of experience working for leading Australia aviation companies, having started his career in Australian Army aviation before transitioning to commercial aviation.
Drawing on this experience, Troy delivers training with a high level of insight and attention to detail. When he’s not teaching, Troy can be found spending time with his family and fishing.
