OUR COURSES

B1.3 Engine/Airframe

This engine/airframe type course runs for five weeks, with three weeks of theory and two weeks of practical on course training. Throughout the course, our experienced instructors take you through detailed real-world scenarios, ensuring you fully understand the unique maintenance requirements of the S-92 airframe and CT7 engine.

B2 Avionics

The B2 avionics type course runs for four weeks, with ten days of theory and ten days of practical on-course training. The S-92 has a number of unique avionics systems, including the HUMS, and we take the time in both theory and practical training to ensure you are competent in maintaining these systems.

B1.3 Exclusion Removal (E1, E4, E5)

This exclusion removal course is designed to allow you to remove the E1, E4 and E5 exclusions applied to the S-92 type rating on your CASA B1.3 licence. In eight days, you will complete the subjects you need to lift these restrictions from your S-92 rating.

Note: If it has been more than three years since you have completed an S-92 type course, CASA will not remove the E1, E4 and E5 exclusions from the S-92 rating on your licence unless you sit a full type course again or complete an exclusion removal course.

Refresher Training

Five or three-day courses for engineers who need to keep their licence current. The introduction of Part 145 regulations requires S-92 maintenance engineers to undertake refresher training every two years.

To ensure your training is more than a regulatory checkbox, we design our S-92 refresher courses to focus on current issues operators have been experiencing, revisit complex systems and review the latest SBs.

LATEST REVIEW

“Great course material with original, easy to read schematics and wiring diagrams that really benefit students understanding of systems. They go out of their way to make sure you have a clear understanding of the aircraft.

HeliTSA also provide a great social training atmosphere and always encourage asking questions. You would be hard pressed to find a better classroom environment or hands on practical type course anywhere else.”
