01 Dec CASA approves our 139 B1.3 exclusion removals course

Want to remove your B1.3 exclusions without sitting a full type course? We have launched a new course so you can do just that.

This exclusions removal course is designed to allow you to remove the E1, E4 and E5 exclusions on the 139 type rating on your CASA B1.3 licence.

In eight days (rather than five weeks), you will complete the subjects you need to lift your E1, E4 and E5 restrictions. We take you through six days of theory and get into the hangar for two days of practical training.

Who is this course for?

If it has been more than three years since you have completed a 139 type course, CASA will not remove the E1, E4 and E5 exclusions from the 139 rating on your licence unless you sit a full type course again or complete an exclusions removal course.

Please note that it is a regulatory requirement to have the E1, E4 and E5 exclusions removed from your B1.3 licence before these exclusions can be removed from the 139 rating on your licence.

If this is your first of type for exclusions removal, you will be required to complete an OJT journal at the completion of the course.
