09 Oct We’re hiring: B1.3 and B2 type training instructors
HeliTSA is looking for two new instructors to join our team. If you are a B1.3 or B2 LAME, this is your opportunity to step into a type training role, where you will attain new licences and expose yourself to new aircraft types.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a chance for an experienced engineer to pass on their years of knowledge and take on a new challenge. As well as working with our founders to deliver type courses, you will also have the opportunity to take on ad-hoc maintenance contracts to maintain your handskills and attain new licences.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Instruct type courses and refresher courses (theory and practical)
- Carry out aircraft maintenance on 139, S-92, Bell 412 or EC135
HeliTSA will provide you with the training and aircraft access you need to attain new licences on the courses we run.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are accepting expressions of interest from B1.3 and B2 licensed engineers with a type rating and experience on at least one of the following::
- Bell 412
A Cert IV in Training and Assessment is desirable but not necessary.
Your role as an instructor is to teach to different skill levels and break down complex concepts for students. Instructing experience is not essential, as we provide comprehensive training in the HeliTSA style. However, you must be comfortable speaking in front of industry peers and you must be a rotary maintenance engineer.
- Flexible working hours
- Opportunity to work from home when not instructing
- Role includes ad-hoc maintenance to keep your handskills current
- Type training provided to attain new type ratings
This role is based in Brisbane. Please be aware that while you will spend a large amount of time in Brisbane and have the opportunity to work from home, there will be times when travel will be required both domestically and overseas to deliver training and maintenance. .
We’re an Australian-based Part 147 training organisation delivering type training to individuals and organisations in Australia and around the world.
Our company was established by maintenance engineers eager to improve the delivery of type training. That’s why we are looking for experienced B1.3 and B2 engineers who can bring insights from the field into the classroom and relate to the engineers on each course. All training on classroom instruction will be provided to the right applicant.
As we are growing, we will provide you with professional development opportunities. The right person will be able to grow with our company as we bring onboard further employees.
