If you’ve been contemplating training with us, you probably have a few questions.
As we are an education provider offering highly specialised training to the helicopter industry, which is deemed essential, we are able to operate.
However, we are proceeding with caution – take a look below to see how we’re responding to COVID-19 to keep everyone safe, while ensuring that training can still take place.
We’re sure you may still have questions specific to your situation, so please contact us.
Yes, we have developed a series of internal procedures in accordance with federal and state government directives.
Measures we are taking include:
These measures are being updated in accordance with Queensland Health guidelines.
Type training and engine courses
All scheduled courses for this year are still going ahead. Students are provided with our COVID guidelines prior to course commencement to ensure everyone’s safety.
Private training
We are still able to run private training for organisations, and we’re working collaboratively with operators as well as CASA and EASA to develop solutions for this.
For example, we’re running an upcoming one-day familiarisation course virtually for a team that’s currently on stand-down in Australia and elsewhere around the world.
With Queensland set to reopen international borders soon, we are now in a position to start hosting international groups again. Please contact us to discuss your individual requirements prior to making an enrolment.
Additionally, as indicated in the private training section above, there may be ways we can organise virtual training depending on the situation.
We allow all enrolled students to transfer their training course once and we are happy for you to delay your training if you are unwell. Please contact us if you find yourself in this situation so we can accommodate you.
Our internal processing times haven’t changed, but we cannot guarantee that there won’t be delays from Australia Post or CASA. Please alert us before you send your OJT Journal for review, so we can process it as a priority when it does arrive.
